LDN sublingual

I just used regular capsules and opened them up and put the powder under my tongue. It was about 33% more effective that way. I asked for just the powder, but the pharmacist said that it was possible for the contents to settle and thus change dosage, so he wouldn't do that. I wonder if it's just that putting powder in capsules is profitable.

It is possible for powders of different densities or different particle sizes to separate the way the pharmacist said, so i expect s/he may have a point.

Does anyone know where to buy sublingual low dose naltrexone?
Preferably either in Germany or in the EU.

Sorry, don't know. But do you know if naltrexone in any form is available in Germany over the counter?

Just asked my GP for a prescription, he said he isn't authorized. Would have to get a prescription from a specialist, like a neurologist. Here in Austria.

Thanks for all your posts.
In Germany the GP can prescribe it without problems. Over the counter isn't possible.
There is a pharmacy somewhere in Germany where they put the LDN into a tincture. But our local pharmacy only makes capsules.
Our son would like to have a sublingual form to bypass the stomach and because the molecules in the powder and the tincture are to big to cross the oral mucosa.

Possible, but I considered it unlikely to occur in a bottle sitting on my desk. I wasn't planning to subject it to serious vibration. Besides, it's not a life-critical drug. If profit wasn't the motivation, perhaps it's a matter of regulations and/or legal hazards. Powder form would have been slightly more convenient, but not worth fighting about.

??? I found the powder form very effective taken sublingually. I'm unaware of a special sublingual form that would be absorbed better.

I don't know whether there might be a special sublingual form but when my son says there is then he must have read about it somewhere. But not where you can get it.
I will tell him about putting the powder under his tongue.
