I hope that when the responses are published there is at least one that covers the way in which they brought the PACE trial into this editorial - when it had nothing to do with the IoM report

I will certainly refer this aspect to the Lancet Ombudsman if this is not dealt with in the responses

Given than on twitter one of the lancet editors accused a patient of bullying for asking how they are linked I think this is a sensitive subject for them.

That looked ridiculous. I don't see how they can think that refusing to explain themselves is okay.

They're the Lancet. They're above explaining themselves to anyone. Especially to the mere patient community. The patient community is an inconvenience.
