Some may have seen this before but posting for whoever hasnt seen it. dr behan in 1985 got in contact with ME patients from the royal free ME outbreak of 1955 and did alot of testing on them, interesting??

scary when the doc says that thirty years later none had recovered all had sleep disturbances and other symptoms etc, blood testing was normal but they found mitochondrial problems in their muscles. I hope science gets on top of it soon.
