If Nath can replicate his ME/FS findings in post-COVID-19 patients, and the expected wave of COVID-19-triggered ME/CFS shows up, ME/CFS could get hooked into a major health concern and a hot media topic at the same time.

If there was any researcher we wanted involved, it would probably be Nath – a well respected, NIH post-infectious disease specialist and neuroscientist who’s become immersed in ME/CFS. His results will be heard.

This is good news.

I am already hearing of so many hitherto healthy people who now have the "long tail" after effects of Covid-19, which is sounding more and more like ME/CFS. Hopefully some will fully recover.

there is so much misinformation about and contempt for ME/CFS, that it still might be considered "not real" compared to COVID-19 post-infection cases
We never know what the studies might turn up.
Many ME/CFS cases started after viral infection or sometimes other infections. It may just put the spotlight on real physical causes of "post viral syndrome" which doesn't ever go away.
