If anyone's ME is affected by salt intake, they might find this interesting, especially if it matches the time frame below:

"Studying monocytes in the blood samples the researchers found mitochondrial activity was dampened three hours after eating the meal high in salt. But interestingly, the mitochondria largely returned to normal by the eight-hour mark."
