Help needed working out horrible abdominal pain

Hello,

I have been having appetite problems and other GI issues including bad pain.

It has been brought on the worst I have experienced by taking coQ10. I can't really describe the feeling but the worst of the pain is actually in my abdominal muscles and ribs ad shoulders feeling like they are cramping and it stops me being able to breathe. Very strange and very painful. I can not walk and can only lie still.

Does anybody know which cofactors coQ10 might deplete? specifically those which might cause GI issues and gastroperesis.

Thanks

What formulation was the co-q-10? if it was packed in oil, could it be that (pancreas or gallbladder?) - esepcially if you said you had the symptoms before but they worsened with co 1 10?

wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coenzyme_Q10#Biosynthesis
points out that side effects include loss of apetite and gi effects - again, not clear how much you had those before (?)

would be intriguing to propose somehting like it depleted it in your muslces, but no grounds really for thinking that.

are you ok with other fat soluble lipophillic vitamins (e.g. vitamin E).

Anway, hope that helps; not much to go on. Are symptoms now gone that you are off of it?

Hi there thanks for the reply :)

Yes it was defo a response to the coq10 and I am ok with other fat soluble vits. It is like a sudden extreme pain that sticks around for about 3 days or something but this is the worst I have had it.

Can't think what other details to give. I feel like I have no appetite and sick a lot at the moment but I'm sure it's all deficiency related as I've never had any food intolerances or other gi involvment throughout my illness.

Also everything in me seems deficiency related and when I work it out that symptom goes away.

Thanks.

What about esophogeal spasm? That can be extremely painful and anything in that area could also make one feel short of breath and possibly radiate to shoulders, though not sure.

You can just go off the co q `10 right? I was trying to find stuff on who needs it and who doesn't but can't find the reference (I remember concluding i did not need it , and it made me dizzy the one time i tried it so in no hurry to try again).

There shouldn't be a problem with CoQ10 causing other deficiencies. What brand of CoQ10 do you take? What is in the "other" ingrdients.
