Has anyone tried an Embr Wave heating/cooling bracelet?

Just saw a commercial for one of these being advertised for women experiencing hot flashes. It's a small device you wear like a watch, but on the inside of your wrist, and it sends out hot/cold pulses to trick your body into thinking you're warmer/colder than you are. I know my wife (and many other people with ME) has trouble with temperature regulation and was thinking this could be a good thing to add to the toolbox. They're pretty pricey though (starting at $250) and I wanted to know if anyone else had tried them before we look into it further.
