Providing increased services for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome sufferers will be the focus of Griffith research following the award of a $1.85m grant to one of Australia’s foremost authorities on the condition.

Professor Sonya Marshall-Gradisnik from the National Centre For Neuroimmunology and Emerging Diseases (NCNED) at Griffith University was awarded the research grant from the Stafford Fox Medical Research Foundation as part of her team’s bid to accelerate the diagnosis and implementation of appropriate treatment.

I am wondering about seeing doctors at their new clinic, though I am not alone. (You can guess who the other person is. :)). If so then I will most likely blog about the experience. It wont be this year however.

It says working with patients gps, initially they said a referral by your gp to see their gps? ?
I would like to know what they are offering.

The Griffith University group seem to have been inundated with calls to their newly opened CFS/ME clinic. The important thing is that people in Australia have good people to go to for help.

Look around that site if you want to find other publications from this group (or sometimes, the PDF of journal articles can be found at pubmed.com or just with a little persistence by digging around in google)
