Hope everyone managed ok getting though xmas. I find it tough with the amount of energy needed even for minimum socialising.

Best wishes to everyone for the new year and hope you all have a better year health wise in 2023.

Gosh I managed to never really. do any meaningful shopping (as if thats what Christmas is about)
.
Then PEM all last week sort of concluded any idea of getting out for a little while to "shop".

Its a low key Christmas here, which is fine, as I have a new Grandbaby. Hope to see her on. a video chat a bit later.

My husband got me a little something, a lovely light cashmere scarf woven in Germany but in a Native American colorful pattern. How fun!

As if I go out wearing scarves.

Thanks for the wish, @Inca. I do hope your Xmas was a good one and you'll enjoy your game with your brother.
Christmas kind of knocks it out of us and even the house. Dust everywhere....and we didn't even have a tree or many presents. It definitely looks like Christmas Past in here.

@Rufous....of course you can wear a scarf/shawl. I wear them constantly. Even in the summer, I find them handy and it was a nice idea and gift. Out of interest, I received one also, and I'm wearing it as I'm sitting here. They're very handy for dressing up a plain outfit, keeping you warm, and so many other things. You'll enjoy it once you get used to having one. Biggest problem with them: moths, of course. Enjoy it and the new baby. Yours, Lenora
