GABA & autoimmune inflammation

I had never tried GABA supplements because they don't appear to cross the blood brain barrier (GABA & glutamate are synthesized from the amino acid glutamine). However, there are some studies showing anti-inflammatory effects in the periphery through immune-modulation.
