Enterovirus 71 (EV71) in 97% of ME/CFS?

So, there was a Twitter mention not long ago regarding Dr. Chia finding 97% of ME/CFS having this unknown enterovirus protein in the blood, labeled merely as a "53k enteroviral protein". Earlier, I THINK I found what that might be...

EV 71 has (to my knowledge) never been implicated in ME/CFS and here's a new article (Feb 2022)... Basically, it's very much reiterating stuff we'd already discovered in the other studies, w/ enterovirus shutting down our interferon. And that Type III IFN lambda appears to be extremely effective.

However, an EV 71 or even EV D68... I mean, these enteros have again NOT been implicated in ME/CFS and it's looking more and more like they could be VERY much involved... so not just Coxsackie B and Echovirus.

The Twitter comment is just by a single person and is second-hand info.. so take w/ a grain of salt. Still, interesting that the other EVs are perhaps starting to come into play.

Hey, @Pearshaped, I can't find on there where Jodi she mentions EV 68-71. I did see her mention of entroviruses though. Would you be able to link that page for me if you have a chance?

Well yes, but there are still many who don't agree. And it's not been largely discussed like Coxsackie B and Echo.

However, I think this is about the change. And yea, EV D68 is another I'm very suspicious of.

Yea, so we've actually had multiple setbacks unfortunately, and have not yet started. It's still being tested in 3rd party labs for verification/authentication and quality.

If I had to guess, I'd say April is when the group will actually begin the treatment.

That said, I do plan on posting more here in the PR forum about this treatment and the latest enterovirus research to try and update everyone

I'm going to try and start doing a better job of updating everyone here in PR w/ everything. I've been kind of distracted. But yea, there's actually lots of good news and solid research lately that I really would like to share and just be more proactive about posting here to everyone.

The second I start the treatment, I promise the updates will come rolling in... from myself, and likely from the others who are following in my footsteps.

Tbh I came across it several times so I was convinced it was better researched, but Coxsackie and Echo are obviously closer linked to ME.

There is a guy on twitter who got ME after EV 71.
