Hi David,

Glad to hear your daughter is also having a positive experience with EECP -- I am amazed at the effectiveness of the treatment...

I did try the low-dose naltrexone years ago when I was a patient of Dr Levine's but it didn't do anything for me -- I know it does work for some people though and I'm happy your daughter is one of them.
I've also tried to study with CFIDS in the past and I know that it is an uphill battle. But, thanks in large part to the EECP, I am planning on returning to school part-time to do a Master's degree within the next year or so!

Best to you and your daughter,

Jane

I have one of the foot/calf massager's from Brookstone. It is also performs a rhythm compression from the foot up through the top of my calf. It comes in very handy in relieving dizziness and brain fog and even tinnitus. The dizziness and tinnitus usually improves in 15 - 30 minutes following treatment. I used this before I ever became sick with ME/CFS for pain in my feet and edema in my calves. I'm sure it helps with supporting the lymphatic system, but the lymph system would not improve brain function that quick. In my opinion, it would have to help with blood flow to have such an immediate impact.

I can also lay on the floor and put feet up on a chair, but the affects are not as quick.

My question is why does it help? Has my blood volume became low or has it's viscosity increased? I do not have POTS and my blood pressure probably is leaning towards the high side. I can only imagine how good a full body or even a full leg device would do. There are a unlimited amount of products out there and below are few links to different ones. Some are medical and some are leisure devices

very intresting, hope it one day comes as widely available as Infrared sauna's. But they probably say there has to be a heart specialist to monitor.

She is currently taking 5mg of LDN at bed time along with other supplements that Dr. Enlander has suggested including Immuno Prop and Immuno Plus which are design to build up her immune system. Other supplements that the Dr. Enlander has put together include something he calls Catapult which is a herbal supplement and Beta Spray (B12 with B6)

She goes once a week for the EECP treatment.

I think he offers it to all his patients. He has the machine right there in one of his rooms and the nurse is qualified in monitoring the treatment.

I am a little scared though since it is aerobic excercise lying down. PEM!!

I have read that you tried it for only 2 times Nielk.

Yes, I did try it twice. I did not feel any PEM reaction at all. I didn't continue because I am basically bedbound now and it is too much of a trip for me to travel to Manhattan to his office on a weekly basis.
