Dr Cheney's treatments

I heard that the late Dr Cheney took some patients to Panama for stem cell therapy. Also he used Bovine signalling factors.
I have no idea what these treatments were supposed to do and I am from the UK anyway but I just wondered if anyone went on these protocols of Dr Cheney's here and how you got on.

This sounds like desperation. What's the rationale for thinking stem cells would help?

i don't know. I am hoping someone who knows Dr cheney will comment. I do know that red cell deformability has been a theory of ME though. If the red cells have trouble getting through the capillaries, then this could cause symptoms.

Yes, but this has absolutely nothing to do with stem cells and would not be fixed with a stem cell infusion.

Unfortunately, unapproved versions of treatments soon pop up to take advantage of people’s desperation when faced with difficult illnesses.
