Doctors in DC Area

I have had lyme for over 8 years now and struggle with severe autoimmune/allergy issues. Been on antibiotics for about 5 of those years and have tried almost every medication that a doctor is willing to presribe. Pain meds help but am never given anything effective enough to treat the pain. I can barely work 3 days a week and struggle every single day.

I'm at the point where I don't expect any doctor to be able to treat my illness. It seems like a lost cause. I do, however, desire to be able to have pain levels which I can tolerate for at least half the day so I can enjoy things.

Are there any good doctors in the DC area? Particularly pain specialists?

I'm not sure how he is with pain though. For narcotic pain meds, you'll probably have to go to a more conventional doc at a pain clinic that won't recognize the Lyme etc.
