Different blood pressure readings right/left arm

My blood pressure readings are quite different on my right vs left side recently. Measured 1 min apart:
Right: 176/149
Left: 128/105

I have recent blood tests: my cholesterol is normal.

Will discuss it with my doc in a few weeks. But until then... Any thoughts? Could this be due to endothelial dysfunction?

How many times did you measure your blood pressure on each arm?

It's quite common to get spurious readings, if the cuff is not placed properly. So taking several readings is a good idea, then you should see the trend, and will be able to notice any spurious readings that are completely off.

Cuff placement is important, so you might like to consult the manual to see exactly how the cuff should be placed. Usually there is an arrow on the cuff which is supposed to line up with the center of your forearm.

i have the same btw, but not to that extent.
also its my right arm being higher but not all the time, sometimes they are equal.

like
right :140/100
left 125/85

cuff placement is not a issue of mine, i am confident i am doing it correct.

btw Avena did you get a resolve for this?

my theorie is that it maybe has something to do with heart of lung function. heart having it easier to pump in a certain side of the body.

or due to chronically bad positioning. i have the feeling i lie distorted in my bed... maybe through unphysiological positions some muscles harden up a little bit just enough to influence how the blood is flowing.

If you can't get a seated reading, that might confuse things. I think generally once you start getting more than a 10-20 point difference consistently, it can be a sign of an underlying problem.

did you get tested for thoracic outlet syndrome?

Do you have pain in your hands? cold hands? white hands when raised up and red when down?
