Cytomegalovirus Treatment Options

CMV Cytomegalovirus. Has Anyone had success reducing Titers/Load ? If so what treatments worked ?

Valcyte worked perfectly for HHV6 but didn’t work for CMV.
Looking for Alternatives.
Artesunate is on my list to try.
Anyone with ideas and suggestions appreciated.

How long did you take Valcyte and at what daily dose? Also, Montoya et al I believe found there isn’t much correlation between titers, treatment, as well as improvement.
