Could the COVID-19 Pandemic Result in More Funding for ME/CFS

There does seem to be a strong correlation between viral infection and ME/CFS. After SARS, there were some reports of post-viral fatigue as a consequence of those who had been infected. Is it possible that many survivors of COVID-19 will develop ME/CFS and, given the high visibility of this pandemic, that researchers and clinicians in this field may finally receive more dollars from the federal government?
