i just was researching things which could help against the increasing food intolerances, allergies and mast cell problems. "capers" are undermentioned in the forum, i just read one post recommending it - but somehow his (@xploit316) post went down in all the information especially because it was about another topic (calcium sensitivity).
https://forums.phoenixrising.me/threads/calcium-issue.83958/#post-2339664

usually people recommend to take quercetin (and vitamin D, C) supplements. but there is a problem for me with plant extracts, i cannot tolerate any no matter the plant. (maybe salicylate issues.)
therefore i never could try those extracts because my allergies and asthma gets worse afterwards.

but now i found articles telling that capers are the plant with the most quercetin and also stabilizing mast cells. 50g contain like 100mg Quercetin. that sounds good.
also incredibly capers are low in salicylate AND histamine (if conserved in salt lake - not vinegar)!
(there is also capers extract powder - i will not even try because of reason above - though a study claims a 90% reduction in food allergies after frequent caper extract consumption)

so of course... i already ordered the capers (real plant, no extract). another thing another try...

a article about capers:

(original german: https://www.zentrum-der-gesundheit.de/ernaehrung/lebensmittel/gewuerze/kapern)

so lets talk about this.
does anybody have experiences with capers? and did it relief those damn allergy and mast cell problems?

I saw that online somewhere as well. How are you doing with them? Did they help?

hey , i tried them, but they are very very salty. even after washing them up. therefore i only eat them every other other day to not get too much sodium.
i cannot say if they made it better, as i eat too less i guess.. but at least they didnt make it worse.
