Can beta blockers cause widespread body pain?

I thought I read somewhere that there was a link.

I took a full dose of metroprolol on Saturday and for the last 48hrs I have been having moderate muscle pain everywhere. I haven't had body pain like this for over a year... back when I was on beta blockers.

I also went swimming for 2 HOURS (idiot i know) but that was an entire week ago. I couldn't have a PEM delay of 5 days...

I could just be making associations out of thin air too.
