Sorry in advance for posting yet another Lyme protocol. All they seem to do is get hopes up.
Lots of marketing and no evidence.

I don't see anything that looks out and out harmful but I sure wouldn't want to pay a lot for it. It also doesn't seem that groundbreaking honestly. :(

There are a lot of cheap and extremely effective lyme treatments out there, Lyme treatment has gotten some shady schemes going on since marketers and business minds find it can be easy to pry on the desperation of people in very ill health. This does not really strick me as deceptive or anything just expensive though. To be fair people spend over 50-100k in a few years on the amount of antibiotics, supplements, doctors, tests, etc in a lot of cases. A women who has since recovered had been ill for seven years with pain so bad she would pass out and have very intense seizures everyday. In the end she ended up dropping more then 500,000 dollars through all the tests, specialists, and treatments she endured. It should not cost that much though, or at least be able to be covered under insurance and affordable for all. If I was going to spend 17k they better be damn sure to have at least a 99 percent full recovery rate for every patient they see.

What "cheap" programs do you know of? And is the whole methylation thing valuable for lyme?

Stephen Buhners stuff is very cheap, Cowden is decently priced and extremely effective, Methylation is a huge component that is vital to work on alongside chronic infection.

Cowdens site is Nutramedix.com

Buhner's is buhnerhealinglyme.com

Keep in mind there are also many life style changes to any treatment, you have to give yourself full body support.

I strongly agree with the holistic approach. Looking more at alternatives to antibiotics, since I saw relief with Augmentin earlier in the year, but don't want to abuse that stuff. Doubt a doctor would let me anyways.

I saw Jemsek in Maryland, and it cost me $850 for the initial appointment. The sales speech was "he spends two hours with you!". He spent at most, an hour with me (half) and he really filled the time in with excess nonsense, checking my reflexes, my flexibility, making me list as many symptoms as possible and then specifying in long detail.

Keep in mind, Im an old patient of his with all the lab tests/diagnosis in my case history already, right in front of him.

Dragging on for an hour, some naives would call that "thorough" but in the end of the friggin appointment (trying not to cuss), he gave me an advertisement for a probiotic and a single herb. I had the secretary go and meet with the obese King and make sure he could not offer me anything more for treatment. Total scam imo and I still get pissed beyond words thinking about it.

I think the "cheap" treatments for lyme can be highly effective, but I dont think you will ever be cured that way.
This is what Im looking for:
Daptomyacin

Vancomyacin

What do you mean by that last part in "cheap" being effective , but not curing? And what would you do to keep your gut from being destroyed on ABX

For me, when dealing with disseminated Lyme, treatments should be specific to each individual. Tailored. If anyone offers a cure for all, I avoid it, cheap or expensive. I am tentative about every therapy I embrace, and I do my own research first; I trust no doctor or therapist, no agency or association.

That seems stringently skeptical, I admit, but for me at least, it is the safest route to pursue (albeit perhaps the longest to find effective protocols).

Cheap, re alternative health stuff like fasting, supplements LDN,, hyperbaric oxygen, are relatively lower in cost than iv medications and big shot doctor fees. I think most chronically sick people are heavily zinc, vitamin D, and molybdenum deficient. Not that you should mega dose, just correct deficiencies.

Despite that, i think it will be a new antibiotic, like vancomyacin (for antibiotic resistant lyme) and daptomyacin (for persistor cells) and tindamax (for the cyst form of lyme) that will eventually "cure" people although if you are on immune suppressants or eating a bad diet with alcohol, then you might probably fail even then too. My point was alternative methods will get you alot of improvement, but to actually get a "cure" (I mean an actual cure not how most idiots use the word), then it will take both alternative medicine and antibiotic/anti co infection medication to get there.

If you eat a healthy diet, gluten free, gmo free, fast food free, alcohol free, low saturated fat etc etc. and if you eat some yogurt with probiotics in it, 5 or 6 hours after your antibiotics, I haven't ever had a problem re the gut with antibiotics, but I was very health conscious from even before I got sick. Epsom salts for a laxative every two weeks isnt bad either.

I see you guys talk about BX and lyme disease. Just wanted to tell the "short" version of my story.

I was walking in the forest of Sweden when I was bitten by a tick. Quickly, I started to sink into despair as the symptoms of lyme overtook me to a degree that became unbearable. My brain capacity diminished to below 40% of normal. My body was shutting off and every function within my system diminished to the point where I was fighting with everything I had to make it from day to day.

I started to use a lot off herb’s which provided some benefit that only lasted for a short time before I was worse than before. I had reached the point of no return in my life. In my frustration and after a long time off research, I finally found the BX PROTOCOL.

I could feel the BX start to take effect from the very beginning. Washing my body from inside and out. After 3 weeks I could feel a starting point off clarity in my head.

I have now been on the BX for 4 months. My brain function has risen to 85-90%. It is truly a miracle! I am certain that without the BX, my life would have ended. In a million years, I could never express my appreciation to Delta and the BX protocol.

From the depths of my heart and soul, I will always be grateful to the Delta Institute for giving me my life back again!

They have created a miracle for me and so many others that will be written in the stars forever.

Also many people think its too expensive. But you get a year worth of treatment and doctors you can contact 24/7.

I think you should learn more about what it is, instead of calling it a scam. It helped me and alot of other people.
It's homeopathic BS which is claimed to cure cancer and everything else. It's a scam. A very expensive scam by people who exploit sick and desperate people.

Members are allowed to offer their opinions about treatments whether they have tried it or not.
Your right.. All can speak what they want and they should. I just wanted to share my story and I will be out of here. Life is too short for this BS. Take care....
