I have the opportunity to obtain bupa private medical (via work). Although I've just spoken to the rep and he tried to effortlessly bypass my question on "prior medical history" ha! By making out that you could still be seen. Until I pointed out that that contradicted what he had said!!
Right so my question is, does anyone in the UK specifically have a private medical plan where prior medical conditions were allowed? I had this before with vitality, and it was actually a very rare policy, most companies don't bother to get these as I assume they are far more expensive.
Also does anyone have bupa as bupa seem to exclude all chronic conditions from insurance, making the plan a waste of time.
I am very hesitate to get involved in taking out private medical plans if it ends up being a waste of money.
