Bulging disc neck spasticity/ spasms

I have a bulging disc in my cervical spine. For the past couple of months my neck has been having intense tightness of all the muscles which I have attributed to muscle spasms due to the bulging disc. At the same time I started involuntarily crossing my legs at my ankles while im laying down all the time.
