Hey all,

I over did it this weekend on a long weekend trip to the beach and am having my first episode of PEM in a long time. I've been in remission for awhile but I'm feeling really poorly today after pushing myself to climb to the top of a lighthouse on a hot humid day in Florida this weekend and getting too much sun at the beach. My calves are in extreme pain and I'm feeling sore and inflammed all over plus feverish and head-achey.

I haven't experienced this in a long time. Ughh. It's humbling to be brought low again.

I'd appreciate tips on how to get over it as soon as possible. I already eat a very clean anti-inflammatory diet and am drinking a lot of water.

Thanks!

Audrey

Thanks so much everyone! Thankfully I'm feeling a lot better. I took some baking soda and extra electrolytes and minerals and drank a lot of water.
