It's definitely been that way, but what would we know now about the human immune response if we had been paying more attention to such a serious condition as ME/CFS?

We can become much smarter.

I would have thought maybe it will work the other way round. That is, worldwide research into long covid will potentially uncover what the crux of ME/CFS is. But then, what do I know.

If there looking at what the NHS do to treat ME/CFS patients, they may at best manage to kill a few....................

Long-Covid victims should thank us for them NOT being prescribed GET/CBT. Otherwise, you can be sure that their persistent symptoms would be considered 'malingering' or 'too lazy to get back in shape'.

Early covid long haulers were treated with get and cbt, there were at least 5 recommendation documents I saw containing those published by various parts of the NHS and associated organisations. Given patients are still being offered cbt/get despite the nice guidelines draft it is clear that its going to take a lot to get the NHS to stop torturing its patients.
