Melbourne doctor

Tony on this forum will know. I am in Qld and have just found a doctor here who now is a naturopath.....no medicare. He has got me to do tests in the US and you would not believe what he has found. He does phone consultations....$50 an hr and compounds his own stuff.
Knows heaps about autism/cfs connection and B12 stuff.

Hi rama,

This doc is very good, really knows his stuff as they say.
http://www.cfsdiscovery.com.au/ There'll be a waiting period. I think they re-open Jan 19.

If you want B12 you don't need a doc. You can buy Neo-B12 (hydroxocobalamin) over the counter at the chemist. 3 single use vials for about $15. They can order in syringes/needles for you too. Places like Chemist Warehouse will do this if you specify what you want and tell them what it's for. They cost about 30-50 cents each.

I use a 29G 1/2" needle and inject under the skin. Alcohol swabs are a good idea to clean the site before injecting. With a half-inch needle you just pinch up some skin on the stomach, at least 2 inches along from the belly button, stick it in firmly and inject.
Just be aware that some ME/CFS people are sensitive to B12 (and/or the dragging out of oxides so quickly) so it could make you feel worse than usual for some hours or even days after.

There are other injection sites you can use, thigh, butt, back of upper arms.
