That is very positive news. My Father-in-law has advanced alzheimers. It's been so sad watching him deteriorate. I do hope they find an answer in the future.

Very interesting - thanks Bob. I can certainly see the "logic" and much hope it does aid in this awful disease having seen it's effect close to home.

I'd like to follow this to see how long-lasting the effect on the brain is. The article gives the idea it's permanent but that may just be hopeful thinking. The idea of brain stimulation doesn't seem like something without risks, but then with Alzheimers the brain is going to deteriorate so it may give them time and quality of life.
