Action for ME, the largest ME Charity in the UK, recently announced that its
new principal medical advisor is Dr. Alastair Miller:

-------
One can get a good idea of his views on the illness by watching a webcast of
his presentation at a RSM CFS conference April 2008 (a conference where some
patients protested outside):

What drugs can I use? Dr Alastair Miller

It can look like it is 54 minutes long.
However it's only 25:24 long.

I stopped the video a few minutes in at
"and of course a lot of these are being promoted in a non-evidence based way by fringe practitioners".

By "fringe practitioners" I presume he means the few doctors actually trying to help us rather than looking after their own interests like he clearly is.

What a thoroughly unpleasant man. He should do well at "[In]action for ME"
