If you're one of the people with ME/CFS who has gut problems, my gut symptoms are bloated, nausea and appetite often below par, but I don't have pain, can scans reveal anything does anyone know

@ruben - I don't know if a scan would help you, but wanted to tell you what helped me. Several years ago I would get full very quickly, food felt like it was just sitting in my stomach, digestion was way off, and it was muscle testing done by a competent chiropractor which revealed that my gallbladder was not up to par. The chiro gave me a product by Standard Process, AF betafood, which worked like a miracle. It took a few weeks. I also learned I was low in stomach acid (which seems to be very common in ME/CFS) and that was part of the problem. And then my liver was overloaded with toxins and I had to do a liver detox, but after sorting through all of that, my digestion was so much better, and it's continued to be better for many years. I still have to take betaine HCL with pepsin with meals and also have added in pancreatin.

I'm not saying you have the same issues I did, but just suggesting you give muscle testing (also known as applied kinesiology) a try. It helped me so much with my digestive issues. This was about 20 years ago and I still use MT for various things.

I think I had pretty much given up on regular doctors to help me by the time I found the chiropractor. I still see them for standard blood work but if I have a mystery symptom, I don't bother.

Many thanks for that reply which sounds pretty interesting. I'm in UK. Is there any particular type of chiropractor I should aim to see. Thanks in advance.

@ruben - I don't think there's a certain type of chiropractor who does this, it's just some of them do this work and some don't. So I would call chiropractors in your area and ask if they do applied kinesiology or muscle testing. Actually I've googled applied kinesiology United Kingdom and and found some practitioners.

I'd be curious to see how it works out if you do give it a try :nerd:
