Abdominal rash - related to Chinese Medicine?

I’ve done about 11 weeks of Chinese medicine treatments (acupuncture, tuina, cupping, herbs, moxibustion) and I’m actually planning to stop because I really haven’t seen any substantial improvement, but today I just noticed 3-4 oval-shaped rashes on the right side of my stomach. Has anyone seen anything like this? No idea if it’s related to CFS or just coincidental, but it has me thinking that *maybe* the Chinese medicine is drawing out a virus or something and this could be a good sign. I’m seeing a western doctor tomorrow morning but just thought I’d check on whether this has come up for anyone else

Not an expert, but this looks like ringworm (or possibly another fungal infection) to me: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/ringworm-body/symptoms-causes/syc-20353780

You have the darker perimeter and spots on the inside. Is it itchy, or scaly, at all? If it is ringworm, it looks like a milder case, so you may not have itchyness or scaling.

Cupping bruising does not look like this.

Thanks! Definitely a possibility. It’s not itchy but the bumps are a little sensitive when something rubs against them. Hopefully the doctor will know more. Mainly I just wanted to make sure this wasn’t somehow an indicator of fighting off a viral infection or something that would indicate the Chinese medicine is being effective and I should continue. It sounds like that’s a stretch though and I’m probably ok to stop that treatment + treat this as a separate thing.

Update: doctor thinks it’s either ringworm or a viral erythema which she said happens as a body is fighting off a virus… so we are treating it as ringworm for now, but it could be really interesting if this actually has to do with an enterovirus and/or Covid dying off. Going to send some pics to Dr chia and see if I get any thoughts from him.
