A short survery of those who have had a lumbar puncture/spinal tap done

For those who had a lumbar puncture, can you please say what your opening pressure was and whether you have an empty sella on your MRI?

They somehow forgot to measure it for me. Very upset about that

I am looking for people who have done a patch with severe ME but I realise they are very hard to find. Because if things go wrong they will probably not communicate anymore. Or not even do it in the first place. So catch22 for me

Hi @birdman.....I check my file re: pressure (remember I had 2 within a few mos. of each other) but still couldn't fine a report. It's probably sitting in some doctor's office somewhere.

When I finally get past this pelvic healing I may hobble up to the hospital and see if I can find the two reports...they're bound to be somewhere and people are generally helpful.

It's getting to the point where I have names for all of the machines, know everything about my doctors....everything about everything except how to get rid of these illnesses. It has become a lifestyle.
