14,000 Volts Electrotherapy Beneficial for CFS?

Such very high voltage therapy + low frequency is rarely researched except by Japanese researchers (and sadly in Japanese). However, i heard from the Electrotherapy Machine Manager that Japanese researchers have found in a study that such high voltages + low frequency has been found useful in healing 90%+ of patients of multiple conditions previously unresponsive to any form of Western medicine. Such extreme voltage electrotherapy was also endorsed by 9000+ Japanese medical doctors/researchers comprising ALL specialities ranging from heart to neuro etc etc as having actual healing effects for the human body

If this therapy works, why aren't the studies made available? Information like this, if true, would be hard to contain and would potentially be a big money maker.

There are several "red flags" you describe that may be signs that a product being sold is less than what is claimed.

The claims that the machine cures so many health conditions is a sales technique called the Miracle Cure for Everything Gambit. Different health conditions have difference etiologies. So it doesn't seem likely that one modality of treatment would cure all health conditions and such statements should be taken as less than credible.

A famous quote by Carl Sagan says "Extraordinary claims need extrordinary evidence". I find it puzzling that this evidence is not made available and the reason given doesn't seem sufficient to make this information unavailable.

What's interesting is that i have actually gone for free-for-public electrotherapy sessions in my country almost daily for the past 2 weeks on the behest of my family member who has gone for 1 month+ daily. Totally free 1 hour daily session by the Electrotherapy machine Private Company which uses word-of-mouth-advertising
.

This can be a common sales pitch to get people to buy a product. You often hear in advertising the phrase, "Try it ten days, or another amount of time, for free." Even if many do not buy the product, you are likely to get some hits and that still counts as a sale which probably wouldn't happen if this wasn't used. It's an inexpensive way to advertise with a minimal amount of effort. It's called fishing.

Another suspicious sales gambit is if you refer the machine to someone, you get a discount. I don't know if this applies to this product.

Beware of extra costs of add on features to the actual machine or things like DVDs or material that explain in more detail how the machine works yet there's a cost to get it.

However, i heard from the Electrotherapy Machine Manager that......

I would be very hesitant to take the word of someone who makes money from selling these machines.

Sometimes the person has no malicious intent and mistakenly believes a product works.

I'm glad you are others are feeling better but all these miraculous healings would be more believeable if there was actual evidence. I want a certain level of information before I feel comfortable making choices for my health. However this level of information can vary among individuals.

I wish you continued good health.

Hi Barbc56,

It's all in Japanese, if you do know Japanese, you can search it all out. I dont. The device is certified by JAMSEA doctor association in Japan. Information like this if true, would be important to contain, if you ask me.... Fact is, medical industry earns money due to doctor consultations & continued medications & costs. Now, before you get me wrong, im not saying theres a conspiracy theory here, just that your logic isn't water-tight necessarily.

Without going too far off, during my time at the free sessions, i've personally met several people who had their conditions healed with this form of electrotherapy, despite their doctors insisting no in the process with no actual reasons given other than saying it wont work.

There are several "red flags" you describe ...

I know about marketing techniques. I was a Business Major. There's zero multi-layer external persons sales technique like Multi-Level-Marketing. Zero cost for additional instructional manuals or videos too.

There's no claim of miracle cure by this company manager nor his representatives. While it's affirmed by the Japanese Medical Association (JAMSEA) as a certified Medical device at the highest level for use in hospitals, in other countries including mine, it's not classified as a Medical device, just a usual health device for usage at-your-own-risk. During the free-for-public sessions, there are only listed cases of healing with actual addresses & names & sometimes with actual involved persons present too. The Company Representatives have also emphasized repeatedly in words that this is a possible healing aid, not a medical device, along with actual posters on the wall emphasizing the same too.

& besides, what's wrong even if private companies use marketing techniques? There is a profit motive involved anyway. Marketing techniques used does not 100% guarantee a fake product, though in my personal experience it often is. Also, it's not as if pharmaceutical companies dont use marketing techniques too on consumers and doctors. This is the age of Capitalism. That's life. Main thing is one has to do their own homework based upon their own situation, frankly & sift out the real from the false.

I would be very hesitant to take the word of someone who makes money from selling these machines.

I'm hesitant too. Who wouldnt? For such an expensive product, it would be quite silly to just purchase based upon words by private organisations.

That's why i made the purchase only after about 2 months of daily sessions while talking with multiple random strangers beside me & actually feeling effects beforehand. With my amateur-TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) background, i've classified the effects felt by myself into a TCM framework based upon the 3 stated frequencies of 50Hz, 70Hz & 90Hz before verifying them against the effects felt by others, which i shall not do a lengthy detailing here.

& besides, one doesnt have to part with money necessarily. Multiple electrotherapy companies are available with free sessions, if there's one nearby one's location. One can freeload it all the way, just like some people i know who have freeloaded for multiple years despite having very significant healing effects or being very wealthy. Downside of course, is that theres less effectiveness due to lower current with 5 sharing one machine, so it might take more time for healing effects to initiate.

I only bought the machine because afew in my family wanted to go for free sessions & cost calculations naturally revealed it's cheaper.

I want a certain level of information before I feel comfortable making choices for my health. However this level of information can vary among individuals.

Indeed. The level of information required varies for everyone. Personally, for me, published medical studies isnt sufficient for me, whether present or not. Good to have, but i dont bank on it. I must personally try a small amount of a medical product first & affirming actual healing effects/properties before i decide if it works as said or is useful before deciding if i do an actual major buy. Everyone has their own different decision process. To each their own.

I wish you Good Healing and a Great day ahead too.

Wish you all Good Healing,
Wintersky

Good Day All,

Just a further update about what happened since. I've bought the machine for about 3 months already. It's not cheap, but worth it to me & my family. The improvements noted in my family & Epileptic friend (who comes for daily sessions) as follows:

1. My elderly Mum: Daily Conjunctivitis infections disappeared mostly. Extreme eye dryness condition improved dramatically. A high-level Eye Specialist declared major improvement & gave her half the usual dosage for multiple internal & external medications. Able to tolerate much more foods now especially unhealthy foods (oily, fried etc) without side effects like coughs etc. Feels dramatically less Cold when going Air-Conditioned places & able to stay in cold places many times longer than before.

2. Epileptic friend: Brain fog & memory improved significantly. Severe anxiety reduced dramatically after each attack (the extent of not being able to work for afew days after) & being more calm and able to smile post-attack. Dizziness & Vertigo decreased significantly too. In the process of weaning off AED(anti-depressants) with no difficulty to date. . Digestion & appetite recovered from 2 meals a day to 3 meals daily with no more bloating/indigestion. Feeling very cold symptoms reduced significantly too. Able to tolerate windy conditions significantly too.

*Note: A decade of Conventional & Alternative Treatments gave no significant improvements to her condition, except electrotherapy so far & so her family is buying the machine too.

3. Brother (healthy): Once-every-3-days constipation dissipated within 2 days of usage. Regular bowel movements daily.

4. Arthritis Sister: Problems with walking reduced. Edema improved. Noted legs felt better & being able to walk alot faster than before.

5. Me (healthy): More energy & more regular bowel movements.

Wish you all good healing,
Wintersky
