Is neural/limbic retraining (DNRS) a treatment for ME/CFS or not?

This says nothing about the quality of the studies. It's just a classic Gish gallop. You dump a ton of links and of course nobody with me/cfs is going to have the capacity to read through all of those to debate them. Almost anything can get published, and that says nothing about the quality...

Is neural/limbic retraining (DNRS) a treatment for ME/CFS or not?

For those of you who have asked for research supporting neural retraining, here is a starting list I've been working on. This is only a small fraction of the existing research on neuroplasticity's ability to rewire our brains. There are more conditions I have to add and more reseach to existing...

Study showed no serious side effects of Lightning Process

What criteria is used for diagnosis in Norway? For chronic fatigue LP could have some positive effect. For ME with PEM as defining feature i cannot understand how it could work- it would seem more likely to do harm

Study showed no serious side effects of Lightning Process

Daily debate about ME in Norway's largest newspaper. Been going on for a month or so. Quick translation by Google and I. If something is unclear please ask. She and CBT doctors has bashed out when the Norwegian ME association has referenced their own survey. They won't accept it, since it is...

SMILE trial results - MEA critique

Thanks a lot for doing that. I thought there were a lot of good points included. Some bits I wasn't so sure about, eg: I understood what you were getting at here, but thought that the phrasing made it sound less persuasive than it could have been. As Jonathan Edwards makes clear, it's the...

    Very Sad

It's getting harder and harder to explain away all this as mere incompetence. What on Earth is going on here? It's bewildering. This drama has led to some real lost opportunities with SMILE, Crawley and the Lightning Process. So much time and effort has been wasted, from people who have so...

I agree, @Londinium. The LP trial was actually a gift to us in a way. It just makes the whole psychological crew look ridiculous. SMC played their hand badly here. The best approach would have been to say nothing about the SMILE trial.
