How does Vitamin A (and D) work in regards to blood calcium?

Unfortunately I only tried K2 MK7 in liquid form (in olive oil / MCT). I can't find MK4 in liquid form. How much do you take? do you believe in the toxicity of vitamin A? I get along very well with fruit sugars, honey, milk, so it doesn't surprise me nor am I baffled by your positive feedback...

    Carnivore diet reduces bloating

...great. But I don't think that any restrictive diet like this is healthy for a long time. It can create deficiencies of magnesium, calcium, potassium, other minerals and vitamins. It took a while to go back to a high carb diet for the microbiome to readjust again and I feel better now than...

How does Vitamin A (and D) work in regards to blood calcium?

This is exactly what I thought and still think ... also based on the experience accumulated over the years ... there is no test that allows us to understand in which district we are in excess or in a shortage ... we are always going by individual attempts and very often the theory does not get...

How does Vitamin A (and D) work in regards to blood calcium?

...can be in days, weeks, month or even years. - if there is one deficiency there are others. the body is balancing things out, it always wants a certain ratio of things. for example a B1 deficiency will come with a potassium deficiency, one need to supply both or otherwise risk refeeding syndrom.

Magnesium deficiënt but can't tolerate Magnesium.

...is that magnesium requires vitamin B6. i believe it increases cellular uptake of mg into the cells. similiar like thiamin / B1 does for potassium. some mg supplements have added b6 for that reason. you could have a B6 deficiency as well now (i do btw). maybe this is what you experience...

Early stages of covid - what to do?

I use BulkSupplements potassium gluconate. It's in powdered form, which allows me to titrate my dose daily depending on how I feel or how much I think I need at the time, which is why I prefer the loose powder to a capsule, where your dose is predetermined and changing the amount is a messy...

the link between headache, acne, neuropathy, muscle pain: insulin resistance

Patti, the way I found the bit of info about hepcidin is I did a search on selenium + iron because of having read about selenium, thyroid, and hashimoto's. See if this study means anything to the topic. I realize they use "weight" as a means to study and talk about it, but only because obesity...

the link between headache, acne, neuropathy, muscle pain: insulin resistance

...the muscle or the brain cannot dilate and cannot increase blood flow when they need more O2 and Glucose. Because of insulin resistance your muscle cells and brain cells can't uptake the glucose and potassium they need. Inflammation also causes high hepcidin and low blood iron, often associated.

...an iron supplement every day like I do? Do you have trouble maintaining normal blood levels of other things? I have to take daily iron, potassium, Vit D, and B-12 in order to maintain normal blood levels. I think it's some kind of absorption problem? I never connected it to a thyroid issue?

My neuropathy flares up whenever my gut/digestive symptoms do?

...Choline deficiency has been mentioned as one cause of it. Citicoline has a lower amount of phosphorus. Phosphorus can cause constipation and cramping in high amounts. Lecithin and phosphatidylcholine have a lot of phosphorus. Magnesium is used as a laxative. Potassium can be used as one.

high blood pressure but paradox reactions to potential treatment, whats going on?

This looks strange, when now calcium is low normal as is sodium. Potassium is normal. I wonder what phosphorus is now. Perhaps the empagliflozin caused low sodium. Have you had parathyroid hormone checked ? PTH I'm trialing Ubiqinol to stabilize and lower BP. It still fluctuates too much...

...to sleep pretty well now. It may change, but I'll risk posting about it anyway. Taking calcium chelate for over a year now has been the strongest factor for regular sleep . Potassium still helps a little. Before calcium chelate, I couldn't tolerate magnesium, but now I can, if not too much.
