Several have done FMT with MECFS on the discord group and on the facebook FMT groups. I have done FMT myself from Microbioma with temporary success. The negative side effects could be catching an infection but that risk can be reduced from donor questionaires and testing.

Sorry, one more question: do you know which Microbioma donor you used? I've heard there are two currently.

do you mean for microbioma.org? that is bank transfer, $2000 USD for either 6 enemas or 120 capsules. In my experience and a few others, capsules seem to work better

no one really knows. when i questioned the seller re: family history of baby, he did not answer. i also asked re: gi mapping tests and no answer. so....i cant trust it yet. also they use bitcoin .....its all a little too unorganized for me. i have used only microbioma so far.

I've read your writeup on fmt. Very good. It seems as though caplets are the best method of administration. Easier, no pain, affects more of the G.I. system. Am I misreading it?

...Anyway. FMT is very interesting. I personally wouldn't want to use any sample without testing it first. Even if a donor is completely healthy, what's to say that they didn't eat something weird the day that they gave the sample? Microbioma says "fully tested" but it's unclear what that means.

That site seems to have changed since I registered. It was originally set up I thought to bring donors and recipients together + also provide some sort of legitimacy for recipients who would print out their 'seeking donors' poster to display for prospects. I guess since they knew all the details...
