Low Dose Naltrexone - Could it possibly help the thirst/dehydration issue some of us suffer from?

I presume you have had diabetes ruled out? I have been thinking of an artificial saliva thing but maybe that won't really help since as you said - and also as I experience it - fluid just seems to almost not get absorbed. And I do take extra magnesium and potassium so it won't be a lack of...

    Low dose Naltrexone

I tried low dose naltrexone in 2018. At the time I had mild to moderate CFS. The Low Dose Naltrexone made me immensely more ill. First, I stopped being able to fully control my fingers. Then my CFS symptoms got so much worse and I was severe. It was the most I have ever suffered in my life. I...

Stanford CFS Clinic: what's it like in 2022?

Hi, Comrades! I've been a patient at the Stanford CFS Clinic for a few years now, and I've seen it go through many changes, both in healthcare providers on staff as well as treatment approaches. It's been over a year since my last routine follow up appointment, and to manage my anxiety...

If anyone is considering taking caryophyllene, caryophyllene oxide and Humulene containing substances please check medications- CYP3A

That's not really how it works, it's more complex, but yes, the higher the dose, the LONGER and more pronounced the inhibition is. Once a drug/herb/supp inhibits an isoenzyme pathway, anything that uses that pathway will metabolize slowly .... I think that you may be playing with fire here...

...liver enzymes, yes I mean CYP3A4. Thats what I understood from what I read and thought it meant the lower dose of Metroprol and low dose naltrexone would mean a low amount of this CYP3A4 abundant enzyme being used. I also thought as long as we monitor the blood pressure throughout we could...

    Still improving

...I usually take it on a Friday before I overdo doing laundry on the weekend. GSE I take daily and get worse if I quit. Ultra low dose naltrexone has given me a gentle rise in energy, that doesn’t make me crash as hard as low dose did. It definitely wasn’t the vacation, but being in the...

So I'm wondering which doctors in the US still treat ME with antivirals

@Judee & @Rufous McKinney Stanford Chronic Fatigue Clinic actually favors video visits over in-person visits now. However, at the present time the patient must be located in the State of California during the video call. How they verify this, I don't know. My next appt is in August, so I...

Ponderings and speculations about purinergic signaling, in pursuit of a unified ME/CFS theory

If Naltrexone (TLR2 and TLR4 inhibitor) doesn't work, colchicine (caspase 1 inhibitor) is another option. In auto-inflammatory diseases where Colchicine is indicated, it's recognised that even a small dose of colchicine can have beneficial effect. Even a pulsed low dosage may be beneficial for...
