Completely eliminated my severe anxiety symptoms with three supplements!

I have not really done enough experimentation with different types of kava to know which might be the best for anxiety. There are many different kava chemotypes, detailed in this post. I get reasonable calming results from the Borongoru kava and also the Pouni Ono kava I bought from Kalm With...

Completely eliminated my severe anxiety symptoms with three supplements!

Kava was banned in the EU, so I buy it from the US. One of my posts on kava lists various US suppliers. I take 1 to 2 grams of micronized powder.

Completely eliminated my severe anxiety symptoms with three supplements!

Usually when supplements work for anxiety, they work within a couple of hours, I find. I find kava kicks in within an hour or two. Although I read that for some people, kava can take a week or two to work, so this may be an exception. I don't know.

Completely eliminated my severe anxiety symptoms with three supplements!

I can't say that I understand what's going on, but have you looked at kava kava? This herb can be very relaxing for the mind, and unlike benzodiazepines and other herbs which work on the GABA system, kava is not tolerance forming. In fact, it actually increases GABA receptor sensitivity over...

Tips for Finding Reliable and Trustworthy Prescription-Free Online Pharmacies

Have you looked into the herb kava kava as a mind calming treatment? It is banned in Europe (because very, very rarely, it can cause liver issues), but is available in the US, where I buy mind. I find doses of around 1 or 2 grams effective for calming down an agitated mind. If he has a mental...

Supplements and Drugs That Reduce or Prevent PEM (Post-Exertional Malaise)

You definitely want to be on the lookout for any liver symptoms, since very rarely, kava can cause liver failure and death (I think there have been a total of three such cases in the world), which is why kava is banned in Europe, but it can be obtained in the US.

...ME/CFS treatments, PEM busters which work for one patient may not work for the next. This anti-PEM effect of benzos makes me wonder whether kava kava (Piper methysticum) might have anti-PEM effects, as kava has sensitizing effects on the GABA receptors: this herb it is thought will actually...

That's strange that you should get stimulated on kava. I found a comment here that may be relevant: I don't know if you find the stimulant effects good or not, but if you don't find them desirable, then perhaps a low kavain kava might suit. Though looking at the chemotype list, it seems most...

Phenibut: how to mitigate the withdrawal syndrome?

Some people suggest phenibut is worse than benzodiazepines for withdrawal symptoms. I don't think there are any easy answers. You might look into kava kava as an alternative. Like phenibut kava also works on GABA receptors, but unlike phenibut does not have addictive properties.

One exception to this rule is the herb kava kava (Piper methysticum), that has reverse-tolerance effects, and over time actually builds up the number of GABA-A binding sites in the brain, thus boosting GABAergic effects. For GABA, you might look into the herb kava kava, which increases the sensitivity of the GABA receptors. Ethanol acts on the GABA-A receptors, so perhaps consider a herb like kava kava which works on the same receptors (a study shows it up-regulates GABA-A density). Benzodiazepine drugs also work on GABA-A receptors, but careful with the addition/withdrawal adverse effects. Baclofen is a drugs...
