what causes overmethylation?

I read it's caused by taking high doses of a drug but I never seen overmethylation genetics being discussed.

this guy said he induced an overmethylation state what does that mean and how did he do it?

I feel like the term overmethylation is just being thrown around as soon as you have panic attacks, anxiety etc

You'd be right there.

There's very little real evidence that the condition exists and it is difficult to take the claims for it seriously when lists of symptoms indicating overmethylation or undermethylation show considerable overlap.
