Isnt anti psychiatry to blame for a lot of this,psychological explainations for illness.
Guess that would make me anti,anti psychiatry and pro biology,but they argue there is no biology so the search continues.

Why?

BPS dates back to early last century, though more commonly recognized as proposed by Engels. Psychosomatic theories started to rise in the late 19th century, and were most promoted by Freud.

In the late 19th century most of the medical profession was anti-Freud so far as I can judge.
