26 years and 3 months, no remission.
It'll be 26 years for me in March 2017. Also, no remission.
21 Years and 1 month. No remission.
Approaching the 3 year anniversary of my ME triggering infection in 8 days. The years pile on uncomfortably fast, at least early on.
10ish years, no remission at all, slowly degrading.
20+ if anybody hasn't told you yet: you guys are freaking heros in my book!!!
Determain, strong and made of the real stuff!!!!!!

Severely affected: 22 years 4 months. No remission.
I've been ill for a very long time--decades. Long before I had any idea of what it might be.
I've been housebound/sometimes bedbound the past 10 years. Continuing to deteriorate.
17 years, 3 months, no remission.
Thirty-five years next Easter. Bedbound or housebound for about 85% of that time.
12 years feeling sickly, but "only" 4 years bedridden.
36 years 5months
32 years this past October. My whole adult life.
No remission, never less than maybe 7.5/10 severity, usually worse.
This month 14 years (from age 22).
Age 23 to 54 so far. No remission and several step changes downwards in functioning.
C'est la vie (or not).
In the New Year I will enter year 47 of this disease, and year 23 of being mainly housebound. In the early years I had some remissions, of a sort, to about 75 to 80% well for short tranches of time, perhaps 18 months on 3 occasions (something I can only dream about now) . Since 1994 my health has continued on a downward trajectory. I have never had one day where my disease hasn't impacted my life since 1969.
Nearly 6 years for me.
Two and a half years. Feels like a decade!
so sad, I'm rally sorry for you me, 18 years sick, since 13 years old, I had ME as a child, as a teenager and as an adult. As a consequence of that, I really don't know what mi potential in life was, i have no clue of how strong and intelligent I could have been as an adult, since I have both cognitive and physical symptoms
