Are you sure it's water and not homeopathic beer?Haha, sorry, really hate to fulfill the stereotypes in this thread! Not going to waste the perfectly good water though.
Careful now, that's potent stuff. Are you sure it's water and not homeopathic beer?
I hope she hasn't slipped something in it.No joke: My German mother just brought me homeopathic pills already dissolved in water, while I was reading this thread.
Thanks for starting this thread @Esther12 . 10 pages later, we have all indeed improved ourselves and are closer to the truth. I hope the results meet with your approval. Very best wishes to your good self.Just to be clear: I don't feel any ill-will to other patients who are using homeopathy. I don't feel smug about the fact that they're doing something that I think it ridiculous. I've done lots of things that I now realise were ridiculous, and I'm grateful to the people who pointed out when I was making mistakes. I think that for a healthy intellectual community we all need to be trying to pick apart one anothers' claims and beliefs in the hope of improving ourselves and getting close to the truth. Best wishes to everyone.
Well, that's me convinced. You are my new favourite logician. To be fair, the evidence for homeopathy is so diluted by all the evidence against it that it must work, the more evidence against it, the more dilute, the more powerful homeopathy becomes.
It can't not be true, because the more it isn't, the more it is.
The first two pseudoscientific theories as to the cause of ME I ever ran into were about meridians and chakras. That was probably in the late 80s and early 90s.Or my chakras are misaligned due to my total inability to take this topic seriously.
I am 1 part in 1×1024 convinced.Well, that's me convinced. You are my new favourite logician.
That's one of my favourites. Apparently I'd be all better by now if I'd let a friend of a friend perform reiki over me to realign my chakras thus restoring the flow of my chi energy. The first two pseudoscientific theories as to the cause of ME I ever ran into were about meridians and chakras. Don't worry TiredSam that'll probably be my fault too.So my faith in homeopathy should be unshakeable by now. Unfortunately it isn't, so I must have done something wrong

Well I didn't like to mention it but seeing as you have, there are some very negative vibes emanating from that potting shed that can be felt as far afield as Germany. It's ruining the homeopathy trade here.Don't worry TiredSam that'll probably be my fault too.
Oh that must be a very powerful conviction then.I am 1 part in 1×1024 convinced.
I did that once. The wife of a friend of mine does essential oil therapy. Aside from smelling nice it was a waste of effort.pparently I'd be all better by now if I'd let a friend of a friend
If you read the FDA site you find that many "herbal Viagra" and similar remedies contain actual Viagra when tested. And that muscle building concoctions contain steroids. What a brilliant idea - set up as a homeopathist and put medicine in the bottles
Why didn't I think of that?
