Does anyone know if there are any ongoing research that is looking at these SNP's, Polymorphisms and Alleles and what not that will standardize these entities. It seems that everyone that has there hand in the cookie jar is just sort of making their own standards, which are different than the others.

Then about every week comes along and we find out that one of the conversions from one to the next is wrong and always has been. Some of them seemed to me to be very significant if not actually being dangerous.

Just curious because I haven't followed them very much since they were sort of a newer science which is always evolving.

Who seems to be the leader and has done the most work specific to our disease?

Thanks!
