hey guys.. wondering if anyone has anything to help with blood pooling in legs?? we are talking hip to foot purple goodness going on..

this has been a symptom i've had since the beginning, but it got much worse a few years ago. Lately i've been having some pretty solid improvements (YAY!!) but the poor circulation/ blood pooling has not budged, which equals no sitting upright, and forget about standing..

some things I have tried (that I can remember.. )
    -butchers broom
    -florinef
    -dexedrine
    -compression stockings

if anyone has any suggestions hit me, I'm willing to try anything! :) thanks!

I use midodrine successfully ( it raises BP but I am low so it works for me) I've heard of a sea sickness drug for those with high BP.

It seems to me that with blood pooling that severe, you would need to rule out possibilities such as congestive heart failure and chronic venous insufficiency. Seeing a cardiologist would seem to be a good thing to do in this situation; a cardiologist would be the specialist most likely to get at the root of the problem.

How severe was your blood pooling before? And did you ever try Dexedrine?

I had / have horrible blood pooling now is in the belly I get like a 9 month pregnant. I keep 3 pants sizes depending how I am doing.

But the leg used to be very bad, I used socks and did leg strengthening so better now.

    Never tried Dexedrine.
