Seeker have published an article on the 2 big topics of the week so far, Jose Montoya's cytokine paper in PNAS and PACE/fart-gate in the Journal of Heath Psychology.

    https://www.seeker.com/health/a-new...e-the-mystery-behind-chronic-fatigue-syndrome

Pretty good article with links to good pieces which look at individual aspects in more detail. It also contains quotes from David Tuller & Leonard Jason.

Possibly a decent article for friends or family to introduce them to the science & politics.

I think we should rename PACE as FART, and trim it down. We can figure out what it stands for later

I have history of having posts about the word fart moderated although that was because I mentioned the word we in the UK use when we are small children instead of fart to be fair - for some reason it was seen as too political and risked offending some of our US friends o_O:rolleyes::wide-eyed::jaw-drop::zippit::cautious:

    Fatuous Acarpous Raimentless Travesty

Fatuous - stupid, inane, idiotic, vacuous, asinine
    Acarpous - producing no fruit
Raimentless - possessing no clothes (as in the fairy tale "The Emperor's New Clothes")

Yup, assuming GET/CBT can cure M.E. is certainly a Flawed, Amateurish & Ridiculous Theory!

PS. Looks like comments on seeker.com require a Facebook login ID so I can't comment.
