Raised troponin

spent yesterday in A&E with chest pains and SVT. Blood tests showed raised troponin level. This was repeated several hours later and was normal. I was discharged with a box of aspirin to tide me over until I see the cardiologist mid April and advised to dial 999 if it happens again.
Not feeling very confident about this. Any advice from fellow cardio sufferers ?

Unfortunately the harassed doctor did not share the details. I have a GP appointment on Friday to try and glean more information
