Sign, if you agree:
Just read and signed it. Makes good sense to me!
I don't live in the US but England. I am not sure where the dietary guidelines fall short in US, and the PDF refused to download.
But I did sign, as it must be needed from what I can see from the response.
The link to the PDF at the top of the page didn't work for me either. There is another one at almost the bottom of the page that does work.
I'm signing - from Canada - only because I listened to this interview with an investigative journalist who called out the US Dietary Guidelines as not evidenced based.
The amount of push back she (and others) received from the nutrition industry and researchers trying to protect their dogma (and careers, reputations, and bank accounts) was shocking.
Excellent interview, highly recommended: https://www.ihmc.us/stemtalk/episode-52/
Was the same for me. However, the PDF doesn't contains more than just the text already on that petition website.
I signed. I eat low carb and am hoping to increase veggies and fruits soon in spite of many, many food allergies. My cardio is good.
