Pekana detox and drainage kit - how does it work?

Hi all, my doctor told me to use the Pekana detox drainage kit, and I bought it, but I'm scared to take it because I've had such a fragile system lately. For example, I was trying to take Niacin for this reason yesterday in a low dose (50mg), and that went poorly. And methylfolate feeds my bartonella so I can't use that for detoxification either.
So I was told that this kit will "open up drainage." But I don't understand what that means. Has anyone else taken it successfully? Would it be on a par with milk thistle or curcumin? I tolerate those... I tolerate MSM too. The ingredients in this kit aren't even familiar...
