Pain/Fatigue from Antimicrobial Foods...why?

I started having fatigue after making salads with onions and garlic, and came to this page:
http://www.hi-tm.com/Documents/Spices.html

Having been diagnosed with CIRS (mold illness), I wondered if this reaction could be die-off, and went full tilt with it.

I've been eating lots of garlic, onion, cumin and coriander as well as MCT oil. After a few days, I developed increased crash-like symptoms after standing and walking with general muscle pain and lower back pain.

Any idea what could cause this? I'm definitely going to cut back on the foods above and try to isolate which are the cause of this reaction.

You could be right @rijichouno.

My conclusion at the moment is that it is best to avoid MCT oil. It increases gut permeability which will only make any side efects worse. I would suggest that anyone with gut issues check out this video

It seems to me that the best approach to sorting out gut issues is to take supplements that decrease permeability and inflamation and to absolutely avoid PEM.

Research has shown PEM increases gut permeability and leads to bacteria getting into the blood and increases in LPS which will also lead to increases in bodily inflammation etc etc.

Taking MCT, long chain omega 3 oils, alcohol and a bunch of other things will increase paracellular permeability and allow more bacteria to get into your blood and so on.

Making sure that you have enough vitamin D vitamin A and Zinc, and taking quercetin and some of the other anti permeability agents listed in this article should help https://www.researchgate.net/publication/286402822

I do not really know anything about CIRS but am on nystatin to deal with yeast issues. And the side effecets from dealing with the yeast did seem to make my PoTS symptoms (problems with standing could be PoTS https://batemanhornecenter.org/assess-orthostatic-intolerance/).

If you are suffering from PoTS taking salt water or more complicated electrolyte solutions should help.

I hope this helps.

lipopolysaccharide: it is an endotoxin. I know that there have been quite a few studies looking at pwme/cfs and LPS by michael maes for example, but also one of the more recent ones but cannot remember which at the moment I am having a vague morning. Actually its afternoon.

The exercise link between exercise and bacteria getting into the gut is here:
