If someone was interested in being part of the fmt study, what is the process? (I'm pretty sure there's a clearer way to say this but my brain refuses to be cooperative, I hope you guys understand my question)

This Norwegian study seems like it will have the same flaws as with the previous FMT one they did for IBS: https://www.reddit.com/r/HumanMicro..._norwegian_research_council_is_funding_a_rct/

I talked about it there ^ and I tried to contact them but got no response. I used the main email for the hospital:
"post at unn.no"

If anyone knows a better contact for the FMT research team I'd like to try emailing them.

EDIT: nvm, found it https://en.uit.no/om/enhet/ansatte/person?p_document_id=66830&p_dimension_id=88108

@Avena This is their previous study for FMT & IBS where is lists those details: https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02154867

One of my close friends is a researcher, although in a different department at Tromso, she said that they may not reply because a) they are truly very busy! b) There's a lot competition and rivalry in this field and they are cautious, as they might think you are a rival trying to gain information about their research methods.

However it still may be possible that you get a reply. I also asked her to find out some details for me since I couldn't find much.

P.S Is there an existing thread on the FMT Norwegian study? Shall we create a specific thread?

Interesting about the competition...

Either way I was only passing on information to them. I directly emailed one of the head researchers just to pass on some information from the recent literature which I think would help improve their study protocol.

This was the only one I could find.
