Norway bans ME/CFS patients from donating blood

I just read on this Dutch website that Norway has now also banned ME/CFS patients from donating blood:

A letter was sent by the government to bloodbanks that states that the relationship between XMRV and ME/CFS is not clear at the moment. It's also stating though that sick people should not donate blood and that therefore ME/CFS patients should not donate blood.

So officially this ban is not about XMRV... :angel:
