NIH Participant Engagement and Health Equity Workshop

NIH is organizing a workshop on July 1st and 2nd which will be webcast on participant engagement and health equity as they relate to the proposed PMI (Precision Medicine Initiative) national research cohort.

The workshop will focus on the design of an inclusive cohort, building and sustaining public trust, direct-from-participant data provision, and effective and active participant engagement characteristics of a national research cohort of one million or more volunteers.

For those interested in health policy and moving the ME agenda higher up in the priority list it may be a good opportunity.
